Check Neighborhood Crime Stats on your iPhone

Have you ever been out showing property and had your client ask “what’s the crime rate like in this neighborhood?”

Well, there’s an app for that.

The free “CrimeReports” iPhone application allows you to quickly and easily display crime related activity.  Using the GPS in the newer iPhones, it pinpoints your location and gives you the ability to filter the display in various ways (distance, type of crimes, timeline, etc.) or move around the map to another location of your choice.

It’s a great way to be able to provide the answers to your clients questions out in the field, and even do a little research in advance if you know living in a relatively crime free area is a concern.
